Before we could get over with the demise of Mr. R, another incident rocked the office yesterday.
A fellow colleague, SDP was involved in a road accident on Monday at about 7.00 a.m. and sustained heavy injury. The accident occurred on the notorious Federal Highway while she was traveling home to Klang from KL. According to a reliable source, she was apparently seated on the front passenger side whilst her brother drove the car. There was another passenger on the rear seat. The source also revealed that the car spun, hit some guard rails and SDP flung out of the car through the windscreen.
Yes, it is that serious. I wonder if the Honda Civic is surveyed by any of my colleague.
To cut the long story short, the moral of the story :-
1. Don’t drink and drive.
2. If you are sleepy, don’t drive.
3. Put on your seat belt
4. Keep to the speed limit
5. Federal Highway is a notorious place. Brush up your driving skill before you take on the Federal Highway.
