Abode for Bubu

The purchase of a lifetime just materialised and the documents are being exchanged. We’re getting a crib for Bubu. in a few months time, we gonna get the keys. Yay !

After seeing quite a number of houses in that township, I finally found a nice one and one that we liked. It’s walking distance to Mun Choon (B.S) as well as Hooi Hoon’s new crib (same taman). I like the area as it is a well planned township and there’s a lot of room for future development. The house designs are very modern and contemporary… very 2010s. With a Sime Darby property, I don’t think I will go wrong.

It’s a landed property. We just gotta get a landed house as the current house is way too small for Bubu. Furthermore, as my MIL would be helping us to look after Bubu, it is timely to get the house so that they can stay with us and we don’t need to take Bubu to and from SIL’s place everyday. Also we can have Bubu in our own home everyday and I can play with him every night before he goes to bed.

That sounds like fun.

But another Booklet is on the way. So, we gotta look into the arrangements.

Anyway, we gotta sort out the house first. Moving from an eagle’s nest (not pigeon hole), we gotta buy a lot of furnitures, electrical fittings and renovations before the house is liveable. There’ll be a hole in pockets but it’ll be money well spent.

DA, here we come.

Chronicles of Bubu G: My cute son

Bubu is getting bigger by the day… everyday when I come back from work, seeing him would make me forget the shit at work temporarily. He’s been at MIL’s place for about 2 weeks coz he was feeling a bit unwell. He had a cold.. then cough… then yesterday fever. I myself had the same too this week. Geez. Germs had been passed around within the extended family.

I guess it’s normal for baby to get sick at times. He drinks a lot of milk. A can of 850g milk would last slightly more than a week. No wonder he a bit chubby these days. Hehe. Being a dad, you’d ensure your son gets the best and I think milk shall not be compromised if one can afford.

Very soon he will not be able to fit into S sized diapers anymore. It’s wrapping his big dick and he’s not very comfortable.

With another baby coming within the extended family, I think there’s quite a number of stuff I gotta buy (no more hands me down).. especially a stroller. Apart from work, my Szer and I have not been going out for quite sometime. Apart from Giza mall, I don’t think we’ve been anywhere far.

Daddy and mummy love Bubu.

Bersih 3.0 : Locations of anticipated roadblocks around Klang Valley

Here are the locations which I heard :-

Jalan Kepong (in front of the police station)
Selayang (near the new Warta supermarket)
NKVE – PLUS highway (between Putra Heights to Subang interchange)
Seremban highway near Desa Petaling (near the huge furniture shops)
Jalan Ipoh (near Templer’s Park and 5th Mile)
Jalan Kuching (after Segambut roundabout)
Jalan Ampang (near Great Eastern Mall)
Federal Highway (near Volvo)
Old Klang Road (near the Petaling Police Station intersection)
Road near Lake Garden
Jalan Damansara (near UN building)

There’s some more locations which I could not possibly remember… But I’m not sure if these are really accurate…

Protesting on the proposed Tropicana International School

This morning a group of concerned residents in the the Tropicana, PJ area held a picket protest on the proposed Tropicana International School to be built on a piece of land in front of Casa Tropicana Condominium traffic light.

Residents from the various communities around here – Tropicana TR, Riana Green Condo, Casa Tropicana, Avenue 23 etc….. all assembled near the land where it was proposed to build the unwanted international school that doesn’t serve the majority of residents here… Malaysian residents I mean. There’s already an international school in the nearby Kota Damansara…why is there a need to build another one?? The SJK (C) Damansara opposite of Riana Green Condo already created a lot of traffic mess but at least that school is catering to the needs of Malaysians.

How many Malaysians send their children to international school?

The developer should think of building more access road and other amenities i.e. playground parks which the area is seriously lacking. There are no additional access road to this area. Worse still, the road in front of that old Sony building  is now a one way road. Then, there are office blocks and 3 high-density condominiums in the making and yet there are no sign of road expansion to cater for the forseeable influx of inhabitants and traffic.

What kind of crap developer is this? No representative of Dijaya was present during the picket.

Indian barber vs. Chinese hairstylist

I could not remember when was the last time I went to an Indian barber. Probably since I left school more than a decade ago…

I went for a haircut the other day and noted that these barber also evolved, now catching up with “quick-cut” trend – having vacuum machine and ultraviolet oven. The only thing that remains is of course the “shadowless finger” cut (one hand combing your hair the other hand playing with the scissor repetitively).

Even the hallmark back massage is now replaced with machine massage. They use a device that vibrates (not the vibrator in the shape of a dick) and rub it around your back and shoulder. Something like your polishing a car. No more of that old school back massage and head-twisting which we all loved.

The haircut is quite nice and I don’t look like an “ah beng”. These days, if you go to a quickcut shop which is mostly operated by Chinese, you tend to get ah beng haircut where long hair in front to cover your forehead and short hair behind. I always asked them to cut away the long hair and the hair stylist often obliged eventhough I know deep down in his heart he was reluctant to do so as I’m challenging his “artistic work”…

Maybe I’ll propose to the barber a loyalty program. Five haircuts free one haircut.

Btw, why these Indian haircutters are called barber while the Chinese ahbengs/lians haircutter are called hair stylist?

The low self-esteemed DBKL (City Hall of Kuala Lumpur) traffic warden

This is the story of my encounter with a Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) traffic warden. A traffic warden is someone who gives summon for traffic offences and man the traffic during congestion in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Their jurisdiction is confined to Kuala Lumpur only. They think they are police, they act like a traffic police, they try to look like a traffic police, they try to sound (talk) like a traffic police….. BUT THEY ARE NOT A FUCKING TRAFFIC POLICE.

Ok, last Friday, I was going to work in the morning. It was about a8.55 am, the traffic light in front of Tune Hotel, Maju Junction and Uni.Asia General Insurance building downtown KL was green, everyone was moving past the traffic light. I was on middle lane.

Suddenly, right before I get out of the yellow box line, the traffic stopped. Light was still green. I was the only car still in box. Then the fucker came out of nowhere waving at me pointing the left lane. I wanted to go the right lane way, so I proceeded to the right lane. Middle lane stopped, jammed. Left and right lane got space for me to move in.

So, I thought that fucker was asking me to move into any lane (left/right) so that I don’t block the traffic from other direction. I went into the right lane and 2-3 car spaces further I stopped due to the traffic jam. So I was sitting in the car, when the fucker came on bike (apparently he was chasing me), he knock my window asking me for license and IC. He said he saw me in yellow box and when he asked me to pullover I ran away.

That’s when I got mad. if I want to run away will I choose a traffic jammed road ???? I thought he was manning the traffic and was asking me to move when he appeared out of nowhere and pointed the left lane to me. He said I looked down (pandang hina) on him in DBKL uniform. Had I been stopped by a traffic police, I would’ve stopped and won’t even dare to run away. This is the first time I see a uniformed man felt so disgraced by their own uniform. Geez. They are a real disgrace to the uniformed profession.

He cannot stand people looking down on him and he is even fucking looking down on his ownself and therefore vented out on me, gave me the tiket (saman) by hook or by crook without listening to my reason. I asked for his name and he said he wrote his service number on the ticket, so I dont need his name. Anyway, these fuckers are like police, think they are police but actually they are not and just a traffic warden. He has a name tag with service number and it was nicely hid behind his shoulder belt. They hid it on purpose.

Fuck. Now another bunch of low life joined the traffic police on the road. I went to DBKL today and lodged a complaint. I gotta fix an appointment with the Mayor’s personal assistant to meet the Mayor. I will do it tomorrow. Check the saman amount and it is only compounded to RM150 from RM300. Fuck wei.

Chronicles of Bubu G – Confinement lady

We engaged the services of a confinement lady through an agent. As Bubu arrived 7 weeks ahead of schedule, the lady that was supposed to work for us is current on job for another family. The moment I admitted Szer to hospital, I informed the agent to get a lady to standby. The agent was shocked and the arrangement gone haywire. Luckily she found this lady for us – Ah Peng (peace) cheh. Her contact number is +6016-608 7742.

In case you call her to engage her, tell her I referred you. I’m Lucas Yeong Mun Lik’s daddy.

She is very skillful of her craft, cooks good food than can put Mr. Yan (can cook?) to shame. Bubu is in good hands for his first month as my son. I think it was fated. Bubu is having a good life.

She cooks for my wife, of course, the lady who is confined…. and also cooks for me and herself. Not to mention, many thanks to my mother inlaw who brought a lot of fresh foodstuff for Aunty Peng to cook for us.

Aunty Peng is a bit of an OCD but its beneficial to us and especially Bubu. She keeps the things tidy. Just like Szer, another OCD freak. Hehe. She is very cin cai and doesn’t demand much of everything despite us staying in a small house and at times a bit inconvenient as I love sitting on the throne for hours.

She is highly recommended. Call her direct and don’t use an gent for it will be dearer.
